Naomi in the Living Room was first presented by Home for Contemporary Theater in New York City in December 1988, on a bill of plays set in the living room by Eve Ensler, John PiRoman and Barry Kaplan. It was directed by the playwright. The productions all shared the same set, designed by Geoff MacStutis. Artistic directors, Randy Rollison and Denise Lancot. The cast was as follows:
